Indoor Air & Humidity

In Central Florida, humidity is half the comfort equation. We measure your home's moisture, dust, and ventilation, then recommend the simplest fix that works.

Solutions

Chosen after testing — never before.

Whole-home dehumidifiers

Ducted units that hold humidity between 45–55% without overcooling.

Media filtration

Deep-pleated filter cabinets that catch more dust without choking airflow.

Fresh-air ventilation

Controlled outdoor air for tight homes, with dehumidification so it doesn't add moisture.

Coil & drain care

Cleaning and treatment to reduce microbial growth on wet surfaces.

The humidity sweet spot

Why 45–55% matters.

Above roughly 60% relative humidity, dust mites and mold thrive and the air feels sticky. Below 40%, air can feel dry. A properly sized system plus, where needed, dedicated dehumidification keeps you in the comfortable middle.

Indoor air FAQ

Do air purifiers with UV lights or ionizers work?

Some technologies have limited real-world evidence, and some can produce ozone. We favor proven basics — filtration, humidity control, and ventilation — and will explain the trade-offs of anything else.

Can you test for mold?

We identify moisture conditions that lead to mold and inspect the HVAC system. For mold testing or remediation, we refer you to a licensed mold assessor in Florida.

Will a higher-MERV filter hurt my system?

It can if the filter slot is too small. We measure static pressure and recommend a filter size and rating your system can handle.
